OKUNANOQUEST: The quest of the Okunano man: Season 1



Okunano Osagwede Osawuwa was notorious for his hunting prowess. Hunting is the practice of killing or trapping any animal, or pursuing or tracking it with the intent of doing so.
The pursuit or capture for food of animal, fish or any feral animal was most commonly done by the people he found around him during his days. And as a child, he learnt the trade and eventually became very good in his chosen profession, his was known as the age of the hunter.
He was reputed to be a great hunter; it was in the cause of one of his hunting expeditions that he encountered the beautiful cripple in the forest somewhere near Amuri whom he eventually married. One would therefore not be wrong to note the obviously prominent and innate hunting instinct displayed by the Okunano descendants. He views his endeavours and accomplishments as games captured from the forests of life.
Characteristically, it has been the tradition for every male child born in Okunano to find his feet and survive either by inheritance from their father or by self-expedition. Hence the itinerant and adventurous nature of the Okunano people, you can find the Okunano man in every corner of the world. And in different walks of life, in those trades that many may shy away from due to the required skill or ability, the Okunano people has traversed all over the world not as a corrupt or anti-social people, but mostly, We have been noted all over as a people of exceptional strength and skill.
 Particularly, the inherent quest to explore, discover, track, capture and kill like every hunter does has led many of the Okunano people to become butchers, traders, Carpenters, Brick-layers and Masons, just name it, the Okunano natural exploring instincts is bound to discover and capture and take-over that trade as a means of survival  and livelihood.
The hunter instinct is very strong and charged in the Okunano man hence we have virtually taken over the butcher’s trade all over the country. There is no state of the federation where you would not find butchers from Okunano.
In the same vein, the Okunano man has over the years, established himself in virtually every other noble professions in the world today. You will be meeting prolific and prominent individuals from Okunano on the AV’s OKUNANOQUEST.  Stay tuned.
