Philanthropic activities:
Surv. Dr. Victor Chukwuemeka Nnam was instrumental to restoring the ownership of the Enugu Centenary Estate landed properties back to the host community owners of the property after a long and fierce showdown with the conspiring syndicates of land grabbers. All his contributions here was completely free and a social responsibility gesture to the affected communities in Okunano.
A humanitarian, he has built houses for the poor and homeless in Okunano Osagwede. He has empowered Umu Okunano with tricycles (keke) to earn their daily bread. He has a long list of scholarship budget to his name.
The exact details of his contributions and support to the community is actually very difficult to articulate since he acts at will and most atimes spontaneously. There's no documented information about his good works of Charity which he would not want to disclose.
His nomination for the AV "Man of the year award 2021" buttresses his place in the hearts of the people of Okunano. His investments in direct human empowerment and charity is completely off the records as far as he is concerned. It's the people who are the beneficiaries of his good legacy that would speak for him , hence the general perception is " He is a very good man"
He is very accessible and Umu Okunano Osagwede knows and can attest to his countless support and contributions to their different challenges.
Through his profession, he has practically trained more than 15 certified surveyors. Most of whom are from Okunano Osagwede.
A quiet man, not given to the flamboyant live styles of the rich and wealthy. He lives a modest life and so, It was a shock treatment for him when the elders of Umunnaugwu, in Amechi uwani, his immediate community came together to confer on him a well deserved chieftaincy title: "Ugwu àéku 1" of Enugu State.
He is from a good Christian home, married to a beautiful wife and is also a good father to his Children.
